Juggling workshops, Punch and Judy and a hog roast are just some of the entertainments to get visitors stepping back in time at Tonbridge Castle this weekend.
The annual Medieval Fair will be back for a twelfth year on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, with a medieval re-enactments and knights decked in armour, as well as musical minstrels to serenade you.
There will also be fun archery and medieval demonstrations, as well as a jester. The fun runs from 10am to 4pm on both days with entry free and to complete the weekend’s activities the Tonbridge Town Team will be hosting their seventh Dragon Boat Race on the River Medway at the foot of the castle on the Sunday.
Heats begin at 9.30am, with the grand final at around 4.30pm at the Big Bridge.
Cllr Mark Rhodes from Tonbridge and Malling council said: "This will be a weekend of entertainment and great fun for people who come along to experience the sights and sounds of 15th century England."
