You don’t have to be a diva to try a girls-only bike ride for the Pilgrims Hospice this weekend.
Divas on Wheels charity bike ride is a ride through the Kent countryside on Sunday, June 12 with all funds going to the hospice.
Setting out from the Freewheel at Graveney, women can choose to ride a 25-mile or 50-mile route, with support from Pilgrims Hospice’s Bike Heroes, experienced riders who will be leading small groups or offering roadside repairs and help.
Deborah Kellond from the hospice said: “We had a lot of positive feedback after the last Divas on Wheels event in 2014, so we are really excited it’s back this year.
“All sponsorship raised will go to provide hospice care.”
It is sponsored by the Freewheel which will be welcoming everyone back to the Divas Village in the garden, where there will be a lively atmosphere with post ride pampering, free sports massage, music from Jazz Omnibus, a barbecue, homemade cakes and a medal.
