Cheese lovers of Kent get ready: CheesefestUK has announced it will be coming to the county this year.

The festival will bring a day of melted cheese delights and delicious cheese-based cuisine to the Kent Showground in Detling near Maidstone on Saturday, June 2.

Visitors will be able to experience some of the cheesiest cheeses in the world, a host of the UK's cheese traders and the chance to buy from street food vendors.

Try, taste and buy hundreds of different types of cheeses, and wash them down with a selection of craft beers and wines to match.

Tickets are not yet on sale for the event, but you can sign up at cheesefestuk.com to be able to be one of the first to purchase tickets.
