More on KentOnline
It’s a fast-growing food phenomenon.
Veganism is on the up and the Kent Vegan Festival, which was set up in 2015, is also growing every year.
Coming to Canterbury College on Saturday, May 12, the festival is aimed at people who are, or are thinking about, becoming vegan; those already moving towards the lifestyle, or who are just interested in finding out more about what veganism really means.
The festival is 100% vegan and there will be cookery demonstrations, workshops, stalls and an outdoor and indoor eating area.
There will also be plenty on offer for families, with a kids’ comedy show and children’s area, a poetry and music stage. The event is on from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, May 12. Entry is £4 on the door, £3 for those not in work and under 11s free. You can book online at kentveganfestival.org
