Delicious fruity treats await visitors to a farm park for a family-friendly weekend festival.
Kent Life is holding its annual apple weekend on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5.
The heritage and farm park near Maidstone boasts more than 60 varieties of apple, some of which date back to Tudor times.
Fruit will be hand picked from the historic orchards in the days leading up to the festival.
As well as petting the menagerie of barnyard animals, visitors will be able to try and buy the fruit throughout the weekend.
The traditional process of apple pressing will be carried out for guests to see the fresh apples cut, crushed, pulped and then squeezed in the giant Victorian fruit crusher to produce apple juice.
Kids can get stuck in to all their favourite activities, meeting the resident animals in cuddle corner and going wild in the indoor and outdoor play areas.
Meanwhile, adults can sample the wide range of Kentish ciders including Biddenden Strong Kentish Cider, Kentish Pip Pink Marmalade Cider, Big Tree Fruity Beauty Cider and Dudda’s Tun Cherry Cider.
Additional attractions include craft and produce stalls, Morris dancing, and live music from a host of local performers including Maidstone-based singer-songwriter Fred Clark.
Kent Life’s Apple and Cider Fayre is on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, from 10am to 5pm. Tickets cost £9.25 for adults and £7.25 for children aged three to 15. Visit www.kentlife.org.uk or call 01622 763936.
