The Leeds Castle Classical Concert on Saturday, July 13 is more than just a classical concert and will have something for everyone on what is expected to be a gorgeous summer evening at the amphitheatre.
The concert is considered to be one of the major highlights of the summer in Kent with people arriving in their thousands every year to attend the open-air event and enjoy some quality time with family and friends.
In celebration to mark Leeds Castle’s 900-year milestone, orchestras and singers will perform both classical and popular tunes including Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe’s ‘Barcelona’, ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’ and all finished off with a brilliant finale of ‘Oh, What a Night’ by The Four Seasons with all the performers on stage.
There will also be a first showing by the Band of the Royal Marines performing the world premiere of “A Tribute to Leeds Castle” as well as a return by internationally acclaimed conductor John Rigby while the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will once again be present to wow the crowds.
The event will once again include a spectacular fly-over with a Spitfire from the Aero Legends stable taking to the skies while the evening’s entertainment will end in the best possible style - a brilliant fireworks finale.
