Folk lovers are promised not only their music of choice but also Kentish ale and handmade pies at Sandwich Folk and Ale Festival.
The three-day event starts on Friday, July 11 with a party at St Mary’s Arts Centre featuring Gentlemen of Few and CoCo and the Butterfields from 7pm. Tickets cost £12 from website www.wegottickets.com
On Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13, stages in Guildhall Square and Market Street will host acts including New Zealand harmonica supremo Brendan Power, Green Diesel, Brides of Rain, and Larkspur. Food, art and craft stalls will add to the appeal.
