Songwriting genius Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced he is making his productions available to stream for free on Friday nights during lockdown.
Each production is only announced shortly before it goes live, but so far the screenings have included the 2012 production of Jesus Christ Superstar starring Tim Minchin, Ben Forster, Melanie Chisholm and Chris Moyles.
The broadcasts started with the 2000 adaptation of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond.
Tonight's treat will be the new musical Love Never Dies, which reunites the masked Phantom of the Opera with his only true love and musical protégée, Christine Daaé.
Set in 1907, 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House, when the Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak-shows of Coney Island. He has finally found a place for his music to soar but there's one thing missing – Christine.
Alongside the full shows, there are also clips of famous performances and behind-the-scenes footage.
While it is free to watch, viewers are encouraged to make a donation to a number of charities that will be listed on each video, including Acting for Others, Broadway Cares and Actors Benevolent Fund.
The shows are available on YouTube by searching Andrew Lloyd Webber at 7pm on Fridays.
The announcement is the latest in a string of live performances being streamed for free.
They include Cirque de Soleil, Digital Theatre and the RSC.
