Enjoy an evening of festive music as a world-class symphony orchestra comes to Kent.
The Philharmonia Orchestra’s brass ensemble will perform a special Christmas concert at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre featuring a range of classic and contemporary numbers.
The orchestra is based in London and regularly performs at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.
However, this month the orchestra’s brass section will travel to the county for their Brass at Christmas concert, which takes place on Monday, December 18.
The concert will start from 7.30pm and includes a programme of secular music, choral classics and festive favourites.
The music group is the Marlowe Theatre’s resident orchestra and has several events coming up next year, including Philharmonia at the Oscars in January and Santtu Conducts Dvořák and Tchaikovsky in May.
There are also a number of other Christmas concerts coming to Kent this month, including sing-along jazz performances and traditional carol services.
Tickets to the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Canterbury show can be booked online here.
