Singer Louis Tomlinson will be on kmfm tonight, as his new single, Kill My Mind, drops.

The former One Direction singer will chat to Emma Jo on kmfm's Hit List tonight on the day the single is released.

Louis, 27, co-wrote the song with Jamie Hartman, who also produced the track. Jamie also co-wrote Rag n' Bone Man's Human and Lewis Capaldi's Hold Me While You Wait.

He has taken to Twitter to tell fans about the songs which influenced him to record the song, including tracks by Oasis, The Killers, The La's, James and Arctic Monkeys.

He was also on kmfm earlier this year chatting to Garry and Laura when he released his single Two of Us, which he dedicated to his late mother.

Tune in to the Hit List with Emma Jo from 7pm.
