The bank holiday weekend just got better for burger fans.
Hotly-anticipated Gourmet Burger Kitchen will now open on Friday, May 26 in the Lockmeadow complex in Maidstone.
The opening date comes as three nights of pre-promotion for a soft launch proved popular.
Burger buffs will be able to sink their teeth into GBK favourites like the Major Tom, a 28-day aged beef patty, crispy bacon, beef ketchup and blue cheese slaw or go classic with a cheese and bacon burger.
There’s also the Chicken Ninja – Panko Chicken, Katsu Curry sauce, Tokyo Slaw and miso ketchup, all sandwiched between a charcoal sesame bun.
The company has been serving gourmet burgers since 2001, using 100% prime beef, hand selected and traditionally reared on independent farms.
Laura Pettingale from GBK said: “GBK Maidstone will be our third restaurant in Kent and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve had a really positive reaction from burger fans in Maidstone and can’t wait to welcome them through our doors."
The Maidstone outlet is the restaurant’s 86th and has created 25 jobs.
