A sell-out music festival is to launch a Margate edition to be held on the May bank holiday weekend.
Margate Wonderland will be an off-shoot of the popular Hackney Wonderland and will be held at Dreamland on Sunday, May 28.
Headlining will be rock duo The Kills, while others set to perform include Little Barrie, Broken Hands, Dead Pretties and Electric Child House.
Festivalgoers will enjoy music across two stages as well as the vintage cool of the Victorian promenade, restored theme park rides and the seaside.
It follows the announcement that the attraction will also host the Undercover Festival V on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, family-friendly Big Fish Little Fish tour with Camp Bestival on Saturday, April 8 and 50s, 60s and beyond weekend, Hipsville Seaside A Go Go, on Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30.
Limited early bird tickets have gone on sale for Margate Wonderland for Dreamland members now, and will go on general sale on Friday at 9am. For details go to dreamland.co.uk/events.
Launched in 2014, Hackney Wonderland has become an annual sell-out weekend, putting on the best current bands and introducing other up and coming bands.
