McFly drummer and Strictly champ Harry Judd has been announced as one of the guest stars in the Friends parody musical, Friendsical.
The multi-platinum selling musician is one of several celebs who will be making a cameo appearance in the show as it tours across the country - including three nights at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford.
Friendsical is a comedy musical written by Miranda Larson, inspired by record-breaking sitcom Friends, which ran for 10 seasons between 1994 and 2004.
The musical, which recently ran at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, squeezes all 236 episodes into just over two hours of original music, inside jokes, unforgettable scenes and iconic sets, including the brown couch in Central Perk.
Each show will feature a cameo appearance from a guest star to mirror the star-studded guests in the TV show which, over the years, included the likes of Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Robin Williams, Bruce Willis, Winona Ryder and Reece Witherspoon.
Among the Friendsical guest stars are Louise Redknapp, Giovanna Fletcher, Jay McGuiness, Joanne Clifton, Ella Vaday, Vanity Milan and, in Dartford, McFly’s Harry Judd.
"The guest stars in Friendsical are in homage to the guest stars the TV show had and the amazing characters they played,” says writer and director Miranda Larson. “In our show, the guest star arrives - only they don't know what guest character they are playing, so they pop up throughout the show trying to find the right part to play.”
Harry Judd found fame as one quarter of pop rock band McFly, who have topped the charts with singles such as 5 Colours in Her Hair, All About You and Star Girl, and sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
Outside of the band, Harry waltzed onto TV screens in series nine of Strictly Come Dancing. He joined the cast in 2011 and was partnered with Aliona Vilani, with whom he won the series.
Since then, Harry has gone on to host BBC talk show the One Show and starred in 1960s musical Rip It Up with Aston Merrygold, Louis Smith and Jay McGuiness.
You can see the popstar in Friendsical at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, from Thursday, October 27 to Saturday, October 29.
