Heelwork to Music, My Dog’s Got Talent and the adorable-sounding Mini Paws competition are just three ways to promote your pooch.
There are many more, and they’re all available as events for you and your dog to enter at Paws in the Park this weekend.
Kent Showground at Detling will ring with barks, howls and yaps of delight and the atmosphere will be a-quiver with wagging tails on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21.
Entertainment will be provided by 2014 Crufts winner Richard Curtis and TV stunt celebrity dogs, and the inter-active activities for you and the dog are endless: they range from more modern pastimes like flyball to the more traditional terrier racing.
There will be the opportunity to shop for all your pet’s needs at the outdoor trade stands or Barks and Spenders indoor mall, and weekend campers can also look forward to free evening entertainment.
Paws in the Park will be open between 9.30am and 5.30pm on both days. Day tickets cost £10 on the gate for adults, £7.50 for children and £32 for families of four, or make savings by booking in advance at www.pawsinthepark.net
