Sample tipples from the best Kentish brewers with a free beer tasting event.
Macknade in Faversham is inviting visitors to try more than 40 beers and ciders from local brewers on Friday, March 17.
The special beer tasting evening will feature craft beer from Kent breweries such as Time and Tide in Deal, Wantsum Brewery in St Nicholas-at-Wade and Docker in Folkestone.
Samples on offer from Shepherd Neame will include Spitfire Amber Ale, Singha, Bishops Finger and Noughty Bear, while the firm's senior brewer and quality manager, Stewart Tricker, will be on hand to share tasting notes.
There will also be a selection of ciders from local producers, including Nightingale in Tenterden, Turners in Tonbridge and Canterbury Cider.
During the evening, visitors will be given a glass and a table to start their tasting journey.
From there, guests can move from table to table, meeting the brewers who will share their knowledge of the drinks on offer and offer insights into how the beers and ciders are made.
Once the drinks have all been sampled, visitors can also stock up on a large selection of beers and ciders available to purchase.
Mackade is also running a special offer for the evening, with six bottles or cans for the price of five.
To soak up the booze, Macknade will also be serving a range of hot dishes from the kitchen, including their popular raclette.
There will also be live entertainment from Gumboots Reggae, who will be performing a collection of classic ska and reggae hits throughout the evening.
The tasting event is free to attend, but you need to register for a ticket in advance here.
The event begins at 6.30pm on Friday, March 17.
