Journalist, blogger, presenter and most importantly mum, Charlie O'Brien is joining our new website www.mykentfamily.co.uk

Charlie, who is from Kent and vlogs regularly for parenting YouTube site Channel Mum and writes for her own site realgirlramblings.com, will be joining the blogsphere at My Kent Family with a weekly piece charting her family's adventures with one-year-old son Noah.

Charlie started her career as a broadcast journalist, working her way up from junior reporter to regional news editor in the space of just four years.

During this time she won EDF Journalist of the Year and was nominated for a prestigious Sony Radio Award.

More recently, Charlie can be regularly seen reviewing the newspapers on Sky News, and as a ‘talking head’ contributor.

She has also established herself as a successful and passionate lifestyle and popular culture blogger.
