Illusionist Derren Brown returns to baffle and bewilder audiences yet again with his latest tour, Showman.
The master of mind control will be showing off his astonishing skills at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford.
Fans of the mind-blowing mentalist have been waiting more than two years to see his mysterious new show after the pandemic delayed his original tour dates.
“We were all ready to open Showman when the tour had to be postponed,” says the 51-year-old performer. “Now, after sitting around in my pants for months I am so, so eager to get this show on the road.
“I’m hugely grateful to everyone who bought tickets and then was told they had to wait. Let’s get together and have a hug and a party.”
The psychological powerhouse has toured across the country several times since beginning his career in 2000. However, he has yet to reveal what will happen on stage in Showman, and only those who have seen the show truly know what it entails.
While the details of his current show, which is his first in six years, remains a closely-guarded secret, audiences have become familiar with Derren’s unbelievable feats on television for more than 20 years.
Starting with a series of Channel 4 specials entitled Mind Control, the BAFTA winner has gone onto star in a number of his own shows where he has played Russian Roulette live, stuck viewers to their sofas and led the nation in a séance.
His stage shows have also garnered critical acclaim, earning him five Olivier Award nominations, including two wins for Best Entertainment.
Derren Brown: Showman is at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford, from Monday, August 8 to Sunday, August 14. Book tickets online here or call 03433 100 033.
