MOBO Award-winning rapper Giggs has announced a Kent concert.
The one-off headline show is part of the Margate Summer Series and will see the artist perform on Dreamland’s outdoor Scenic Stage later this year.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 22 at 10am and can be booked online here.
The MC has been at the forefront of British rap since the release of his debut album, Walk in da Park, in 2008.
His tracks, including Talkin’ the Hardest, Lock Doh and Peligro, have seen the performer nominated for two BRIT Awards and receive a MOBO Award in 2017.
The concert will also include support from grime MC, rapper and songwriter Ghetts, whose latest album, On Purpose With Purpose, features guest artists Wretch 32 and Kano.
Rob Waller, founder and programmer of the Margate Summer Series, said: “We’re ecstatic to have Giggs and Ghetts joining us in Margate for this very special show.
“Both artists have evolved and shaped the landscape of the UK rap scene, developing the sound, pushing it globally and paving the way for other artists.
“We can’t wait to have them both perform by the sea as part of the Margate Summer Series.”
Giggs will be at Dreamland on Saturday, August 3.
