Retro rockers Monster Magnet are the latest headliners announced for a major music festival in Kent this summer.
The band will headline the Grooverider Stage of the Ramblin' Man Fair at Mote Park, Maidstone, on its final day.
The festival, organised by Spirit of Rock, is being staged for a fifth year in the park from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21.
Monster Magnet fused metal, punk, space rock, and psychedelic influences to develop their feedback-heavy hard rock sound that helped them stand out through the decades and continue to this day.
They celebrated their 30th anniversary last year after a host of critically acclaimed albums including Spine of God and Powertrip.
They join headliners already announced, Foreigner who headline Sunday’s Planet Rock Main Stage, Black Stone Cherry, who headline on Saturday and American blues singer Beth Hart who headlines the Blues Stage. The Darkness headline the Planet Rock Main Stage on the Friday along with Kris Barras and Airbourne are Main Stage special guests on the Saturday.
Other acts taking to the stages include The Wildhearts, Ugly Kid Joe, Jesse Dayton and the Temperance Movement.
