After being announced at the end of last year, Kent rock fans can finally start packing for a brand new weekend festival.

The festival, named after the county town, has confirmed headliners such as Glenn Hughes, who will be performing a string of Deep Purple Hits, and Australian outfit Airbourne.

They will be joined by the likes of The Hunna, Skindred, Orange Goblin, the Cold Stares, Robert John and the Wreck, the Hot Damn and more.

The line-up, which includes 39 artists in total, will see a handful of live music performances kick off on Friday evening before the rest of the music takes place over Saturday and Sunday.

Friday’s launch party will also include Rockaoke, which gives visitors a chance to get up on the main stage and sing karaoke classics with a live band.

There will also be a programme of activities for all ages during the weekend, including axe throwing, archery, music workshops and a Harley Davidson display.

Visitors can also pick up merchandise from the Maid of Stone market and sample tasty food and drink from a range of stalls.

There will be a street food village with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, a whisky and bourbon tent and bars serving beer, cider, real ale and soft drinks.

For those who choose to camp for the weekend, there is a campsite with toilets, showers, phone charging stations and breakfast vendors, and three areas - general, quiet and family.

Camper van pitches are also available and there is a glamping option with pre-pitched luxury bell tents for an additional cost.

You can book your tickets online here.

Day tickets start from £28 and weekend tickets start from £139.
