Acclaimed folk singer songwriter Seth Lakeman is playing a one-off gig in the county this week.
Seth, the former Mercury Music Prize nominee is back on the road after a hectic summer of festival appearances around Europe and, away from the stage, becoming father to twins.
Sean, 36, who hails from Devon, and is renowned for his virtuoso fiddle playing, will be joined for the performance at Dartford’s Orchard Theatre by a three-piece band and special guest, 24-year-old London-born singer and guitarist Lisbee Stainton.
Audiences can expect tracks from his new album Word of Mouth, due for release in the new year, plus other classics from his diverse back catalogue, ranging from footstomping crowd pleasers to tender ballads.
Support will be provided by folk duo Winter Mountain, who have been compared to Simon & Garfunkel, Fleet Foxes and the Everly Brothers.
