No 84 Tearoom and Eatery
Acclaimed Irish storyteller Liz Weir will be enchanting audiences with her unique tales in Gravesend on Sunday, February 23.
It starts at 7.30pm in the No.84 Tearoom & Eatery in Parrock Road.
There will also be an open mic slot, where members of the public can join in the fun by telling one of their own stories.

Telling Tales
Maidstone Museum
Become a detective for the evening at Maidstone Museum on Friday, February 7.
Telling Tales: The Museum Comes to Life, will be a unique interactive experience, in which members of the public are invited to try and solve a puzzle.
Film will be shown at different places around the museum, with a troupe of actors on hand to set the scene.

Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain
Orchard Theatre
A unique insight into our history is on offer at Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain, coming to Dartford’s Orchard Theatre.
The show will bring some of the country’s most infamous figures alive on stage.
Can you beat battling Boudicca? Has William Wallace met his match? Will Parliament survive gunpowder Guy Fawkes? Can King Charles keep his head? Would you stand and deliver to dastardly Dick Turpin?

Tudor Britain's Got Talent
Hall Place
Who needs to read a history book when you can watch Tudor Britain’s Got Talent at Hall Place in Bexley.
Set in Tudor London, it follows John Ketch, executioner to the king, as he decides to change career.
Performed in a game show format, John recalls bucket loads of vile facts from the period as he searches for a more relaxing way to pay the rent, from the revolting Groom of the Stool to the stinking Fish Wife and plenty more grisly jobs in between.
It starts at 11.30am on Saturday, February 8.
Hall Place is a former stately home, owned by English Heritage, just outside Crayford.

Fairy Tales for grown-ups
Folkestone's Quarterhouse
Grown-ups are invited to journey into their own fairy tale world at Folkestone’s Quarterhouse.
Storyteller Ben Haggarty will regale audiences with a dark, fast-paced tale called The Grateful and Dead, about dreams, initiations and the repayment of debts.
