Internationally famous dance company Jasmin Vardimon is launching online dance sessions for all ages so they can keep active at home.
The Ashford-based company, which opened a pop up space at the Designer Outlet in the town in January, is now turning to online to make sure people keep dancing.
Today, on World Theatre Day, the company is launching its first online classes available online for all ages - from little ones up to the over 50s.
The company, which says it will miss the spectacle and communal nature of real live performance, will offer the online platforms to celebrate creativity and promote mental and physical well-being.
The Pop Up Space classes will be free online via Zoom for the next month, with professionally trained dancers guiding participants through a series of fun and inspirational sessions live streamed through the Zoom online platform via the company's website.
Jasmin Vardimon said: "In these difficult times I feel we have to do everything we can to help our communities. I hope our offer will benefit dance students, professional dancers and other individuals and families who are at home and looking for ways to keep active and stay healthy."
The company is also hosting free screenings of its most popular productions, starting on Sunday, March 29 at 7pm.
Fans have been voting for their favourites on social media and the winning production will be available for 24 hours via the company's Vimeo page.
A fundraising campaign has also been set up by the charitable arm of the company to support digital activities and freelance artists during these difficult times and the company is also working on providing new resources for teachers and students studying Jasmin's work at GCSE and A level.
