Philharmonia Orchestra to perform Philharmonia At The Oscars concert at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury

Enjoy your favourite music from the movies in a rousing live concert.

The world-famous Philharmonia Orchestra is performing a programme of scores and soundtracks from blockbuster films such as Indiana Jones and Schindler’s List.

The group of talented musicians will be returning to Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre for one night of Oscar-worthy music.

The concert spans several decades of Hollywood’s finest films, from black-and-white classics to recent releases.

Audiences can expect numbers from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Out of Africa, Schindler’s List and more.

The music group, which is the Marlowe’s resident orchestra, is known for its extensive repertoire of on-screen scores.

The Philharmonia has recorded scores for more than 150 films and video games since it was founded in 1945.

The orchestra has a number of concerts coming up in Canterbury this year, including violinist Esther Yoo and performances of Tchaikovsky and Dvořák.
