An outdoor cinema showing blockbusters like Mamma Mia and the Greatest Showman will return to Kent this summer.
Adventure Cinema, which will tour historic locations across the country from May, is set to visit Cobham Hall in Gravesend for four nights later this year.
The venue, which dates back to the 1500s, will be taken over by a large inflatable screen where visitors can watch classic films under the stars in August.
The series kicks off with a sing-along screening of 1978 musical Grease.
Viewers can sing the on-screen lyrics along with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John to a soundtrack including Summer Nights, You’re the One That I Want and Greased Lightnin’.
The sing-song continues the following night with the Greatest Showman, featuring a Grammy Award-winning soundtrack.
The film, starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya, is one of the highest-grossing musicals of all time and will be another sing-along experience for the audience.
The third film coming to Gravesend is Mamma Mia, which is also well-known for its soundtrack of Abba hits.
However, this showing is not a sing-along experience and there will not be lyrics on screen during the film.
The final film showing at Cobham Hall will be 1980s classic Back to the Future, starring Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
Ahead of each screening, there will be music playing over the speakers to set the mood.
Visitors can bring their own chairs and picnic blankets to set up on the lawn in front of the manor house.
There will also be a bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks, food trucks selling hot food and stalls with cinema snacks such as popcorn.
Adventure Cinema will be at Cobham Hall from Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, August 18. You can book tickets online here.
Gates open each evening from 7.15pm and the films start at 8.45pm.
