Sassy pop diva Paloma Faith has been announced to perform at Bedgebury Pinetum this summer.

Nominated for Best Album and Best British Female at this year’s Brit Awards, the Picking Up the Pieces singer will play seven forest dates across the UK, including the show near Goudhurst.

Performing on Friday, June 21, she joins Blondie at Bedgebury, who will perform on Saturday, June 22.

Her retro style won her many fans after releasing 2009 debut album Do You Want the Truth, or Something Beautiful?

It sold half a million copies and spawned singles Stone Cold Sober and New York.

She took a contemporary turn with her Brit Award-nominated follow up Fall To Grace, which includes 30 Minute Love Affair, Just Be and her enchanting cover of INXS’s Never Tear Us Apart.

Paloma said: "I’m really excited about these shows. It’s going to be a great experience so I hope people will be able to join me on my woodland adventure this summer.

"I am delighted to have been nominated for these Brit awards. I don’t expect to win, but it’s so wonderful to be acknowledged for contributing something to British music.

"I am very proud to be British and so happy to do something I love."
