It's more than 30 years since Musical Youth stormed the charts with their single which was a worldwide hit - and they'll be playing it and other hits in the county at the weekend.
Peaking at No.1 in the UK singles chart, it was also a Top 10 hit in America and sold more than 5million copies worldwide.
The band - now a duo - are among the dozens of acts coming to Maidstone for the Fringe Festival, now in its ninth year.
Their reggae song, which refers to a Jamaican cooking pot, was the first single off the band's debut studio album back in 1982.
The band toured throughout the world, and Motown legend Stevie Wonder even wrote a song especially for them.
They were also nominated for a Grammy award as best newcomers in 1984.

The line-up of the fringe festival includes alternative rock, indie and pop-punk, through to acoustic and blues acts, ska, contemporary folk, funk, soul, dance and hip-hop.
Opening on Wednesday, May 1 will be Dub Pistols, bringing their riotous collision of drum & bass, hip-hop, ska, dub and punk, they join former members of post-punk band The Fall, who are Brix And The Extricated, on the line-up of live music,
