Boasting comic Bobby Davro for the grown-ups’ amusement plus kids’ TV heroine Tracy Beaker, aka actress Dani Harmer, Peter Pan is bound to be a hit.
Disney’s Lloyd Warbey, who presents Art Attack, plays the title role in the touring pantomime production which comes to Chatham’s Central Theatre later this month.
Kids’ favourite Dani is Peter’s motherly best friend Wendy, with Bobby as dozy pirate Smee. Flying special effects, elaborate sets and high-octane dance routines and popular songs make this one for all the family.
Director Guy Pascall said: “It’s going to be great fun. Peter Pan is the most magical pantomime of them all and ever since Disney sprinkled their magic touch on the story it’s become a firm favourite.
“The story has such wonderful characters, such as Tinker Bell, Nana the dog, Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, pirates, Indians; it really has something for everyone.”
The show is at the Central Theatre, Chatham, on Saturday, April 26, with shows at 3pm and 7pm, and on Sunday, April 27, with shows at 1pm and 4.30pm.
