A town's popular Proms in the Park will be back in May - and will be free.
The event, held at Maidstone's Whatman Park, had attracted thousands for a free afternoon and evening of classical music and entertainment in the open air.
Last year, an entry fee was introduced and it was then announced by Maidstone Borough Council it would be cancelled - but Weston Homes stepped in and agreed to sponsor it for the next five years.
This year's free Proms in the Park will be held on Saturday, May 25, the late May Bank Holiday weekend.
Picnics are welcome in the park from 3pm, with the concert starting at 6pm.
The line-up includes regulars Maidstone Wind Symphony, conducted by Jonathan Crowhurst.
