Placebo have announced that they will play a huge outdoor concert in Kent this summer.
The rock duo will be performing at Dreamland in Margate on Friday, June 9.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 24 at 9am. You can book tickets, when they go on sale, here.
Frontman Brian Molko and bassist Stefan Olsdal will be playing the band's biggest hits on the outdoor Scenic Stage as part of the Margate Summer Series.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album in 1996, Placebo have gained notoriety for their androgynous look and lyrics about sexuality, mental health and drug use.
Their gender-bending 1997 single, Nancy Boy, saw the band reach No. 4 on the UK singles chart and helped their album achieve a spot in the Top 5 in the UK Album Chart.
In following years, the band continued to release a string of hits including Pure Morning, You Don’t Care About Us and Every You Every Me.
Their latest album, Never Let Me Go, was released in March 2022. It was the band’s first full-length record in eight years and peaked at No. 3 in the UK Album Chart.
They previously performed at a number of stadiums across the UK last year, supporting American rock band My Chemical Romance on their headline tour.
Placebo are the latest group to join the Margate Summer Series line-up, alongside Bastille, McFly, Tom Jones, Primal Scream and Happy Mondays, Olly Murs, Hacienda Classical and UB40.
