Love them or loathe them, pop duo Jedward are guaranteed to be anything but boring when they perform Chatham’s Central Theatre this week.

Identical Irish twins John and Edward Grimes finished in sixth place on ITV talent show X Factor in 2009, but they have become one of its most successful acts.

The crazy-haired pair have released nine singles, including No.2 UK hit Under Pressure with Vanilla Ice in 2010, and for the past two years represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
They have also appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2011, starred in their own reality TV show and hosted two children’s TV shows in Ireland.

But the 20-year-olds are currently concentrating on their music career, promoting their third studio album, Young Love.

Edward said: “Often people bring along friends who might not be Jedward fans but by the end of it, they are crazy and everyone is having a great time – even mums and dads.”
