Battle will commence this weekend as the Napoleonic Association of Great Britain sets out to recreate life in the Napoleonic Wars, with cannon fire, soldiers on horseback and encampments.
The Napoleonic weekend will be at Hole Park in Rolvenden on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September1.
Visitors can talk to the actors involved in recreating a time when Europe was in the grip of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte - and he'll be there too, in the shape of lookalike John Horwood.
There will be cavalry and artillery displays, or you can book a tour to see the cannons being prepared to fire and inside the French and English encampments.
Admission is £7.50 and £1 for five to 16-year-olds. Book at holepark.com or call 01580 241344.
