Pride doesn't get much more loud and proud than RuPaul and friends.
The camp competition show, RuPaul's Drag Race, is a huge cult hit - and star Charlie Hides will be bringing its platform-heeled glamour to Tunbridge Wells this weekend as part of Pride events in the town.
In partnership with The Forum and Tunbridge Wells Pride, Sex, Drag & Rock n’ Roll comes to the Assembly Hall Theatre on Friday, August 16, hosted by Charlie, who starred in the show's ninth series.
The evening will see the audience in amongst the action on the stage, with songs, comedy, fashion and an on-stage bar, with flamboyant Charlie hosting local drag king, drag queen and talent acts battling it out to win a spot at The Forum's Late Night Pride.
The panel of guest judges choosing will be The Forum founder Jason Dormon, local P!nk impersonator Luna Lestrange and X Factor finalist Bella Penfold with acts including Ivy Gunn, drag maverick Max Legroom, singer Jack Mackey, Miss Gay Folkestone Miss Di Vour and comedy queen Victoria Carriage.
The show will raise funds for the Albert Kennedy Trust, which helps young homeless LGBTQ+ people.
