Organisers of Pub in the Park have announced it will be returning to Kent next year, with a music line-up including Melanie C.
The foodie festival, which is the brainchild of celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, will return to Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells, where it has been held since 2018.
The festival will run from Friday, July 8 to Sunday, July 10, 2022 and among the first wave of headline music acts announced are Melanie C, a DJ set by Faithless and singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Tickets for the event go on sale at early bird rates on Friday, November 12 at 10am.
Faithless will play their DJ set on the Friday evening, while queen of the kitchen disco Sophie Ellis-Bextor will perform the same night, while Melanie C will headline a Lazy Sunday session.
Tom Kerridge will once again be bringing together his band of chef pals, with TV favourites and Michelin-starred names.
At each location, there’ll be local award-winning pubs and restaurants serving tasting dishes showing their signature style and chef demonstrations.
Tom said: “I had such a blast in 2021 - it was amazing to see everyone together again. I’ve had a sneak peek at the rest of the line-up for 2022 and it looks banging. We’re so excited to be bringing tasty food, incredible chefs and lush music to the towns we love, with some surprises thrown in as well”
Chris Hughes, chief executive at Brand Events, added: “Our towns can expect the biggest names in food and music to take centre stage in their local parks.
This will be 2022’s biggest food and music festival so go grab your friends and family. I promise you you’re going to love it.”
