Punk poet John Cooper Clarke found fame in the late 1970s, delivering biting satirical verse in a rapid-fire performance style.
After touring with the likes of the Sex Pistols and the Clash, he began to draw large crowds in his own right.
He will be performing some of his best-known works, including Beasley Street and Evidently Chickentown in a show at Margate’s Theatre Royal from 7.30pm on Saturday, November 30.
Tickets from £15 on 01843 296111.
