It has fewer calories than wine and feels like a celebration in every glass.
Prosecco will be celebrated in all its bubbly goodness at the Prosecco Festival at the Kent Showground near Maidstone this weekend.
On arrival, visitors will be greeted with their prosecco flute ready to fill - and then keep filling.
There will be stations offering more than 40 types of prosecco, spumante, cavas, brut, pink fizz and prosecco cocktails. For non-fizz fans, there is also a bottled lager area.
To complement the beverages, there will be an array of Italian streetfoods, such as calzone and homemade meatballs, and live acts and entertainment and a dance floor.
The Prosecco Festival will be at the Kent Showground at Detling near Maidstone, on Friday, May 11 between 6.30pm and 11pm, and two sessions on Saturday, May 12. The Saturday sessions are sold out. For over 18s only, tickets cost £11.50 per person .
