They’re from Glastonbury, but this summer they’ll be heading for a festival in Kent.
Nineties band Reef will headline this year’s Vicar’s Picnic two-day festival in Yalding.
The band, whose debut album Replenish was released in 1995, will play the event on Saturday, July 16.
The line-up includes John Power from last year’s headliners Cast; Kent’s Coco and the Butterfields; Skinny Lister and Congo Faith Healers.
The event has its origins in Glastonbury - or the lack of it. A group of friends who missed out on tickets for the festival in 2012 decided to stage their own, and named it the Vicar’s Picnic after its original location on Vicarage Road.
It is now held on The Lees. This year it will be on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16, and will raise funds for Demelza.
Early bird tickets which are available now, are £35 (£45 later); £25 for 13 to 17-year-olds (£30) and six to 12-year-olds £10. Visit vicarspicnic.co.uk to book.
