Overflowing with emotional subtlety and vivid imagery his productions have brought dance to the masses and have sold out at theatres across the country.

Throughout his career Richard has returned countess times to his favourite composer, Benjamin Britten and will be doing so again with a triple bill that arrive in Canterbury this week.

The highlight is a set to the music of Britten’s Rejoice In The Lamb, with words by the 18th century poet Christopher Smart.

It features the young singers of the Canterbury Cathedral choir performing live along with director David Flood.

The other dances are A Ceremony Of Carols, which premiered at the Marlowe Theatre in 2012 and has music by Canterbury harpist Camilla Pay, plus Illuminations, which depict the life of poet Arthur Rimbaud.
