When you have lost a loved one, no matter how long ago, Christmas can be a particularly difficult time.

Each year the Aylesford-based Heart of Kent Hospice holds Light Up a Life events to remember loved ones who brought you and light to their family and friends' lives.

Whether you have a previous connection to the hospice, or would just like to remember someone, you can take part.

The first will be held at the hospice's base in Aylesford this weekend, on Sunday, November 25 at 4.30pm.

The second will be held at Aylesford Priory on Sunday, December 2 at 4.30pm.
