Adapter Sam Holcroft has admitted it was a very daunting experience to do justice to the book, but her witty script along with catchy songs, by composer Arthur Darvill, certainly capture the audience from the start.
Greg Barnett brings just the right amount of swagger and self-confidence to Mr Fox as he learns the importance of teamwork and sharing.
While Sandy Foster as rabbit and Gruffudd Glyn, who plays mole and Bunce, provide lots of laughs.
The tiered revolving stage adds to the spectacle of this show that works for children and adults alike - my eight your old gave it five stars and a big thumbs up.
