There's been some long months since Breaking Bad the TV series ended for most of its followers.

If you've been looking for something to fill the void, you're not alone, and the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells - which is looking very stylish since its recent refit - can also vouch for that.

Just looking around the audience, there were a distinct number of Los Pollos Hermanos t-shirts, so it was clear Miles Allen was playing to a keen crowd with his One Man Breaking Bad - the Unauthorised Parody.

He'd got most of the voices down to an absolute T, although I felt Walter White's took a bit of warming up, but my favourite by far was Walter's wife, Skyler. Complete with wig and pursed lips. His impression of Hector was also a treat.

He really did take the audience through the entire show from beginning to end, and we all laughed with one voice as he reminded us of the little asides and foibles the characters had throughout, and the bits where you thought "Really?" or "Ah, of course!"

He narrated as Jesse, which made perfect sense, and relished in his little catchphrases, from "Yo!" to "bitch". His impression of Elmo saying that was really funny; not so keen on George Bailey of It's a Wonderful Life saying it - but that's just a personal view because that film is near sacred to me.

Thinking about the premis for this show beforehand - one man tells the entire show from start to finish - it seemed like it could be Breaking Bad or it could be just bad. I'm very happy to report, it was definitely Breaking Bad. But very good.
