She brought her feel-good eclectic mix of blues and Motown-type tracks and certainly her quirk to the forest last night.
Brit Award winner, Paloma Faith was on a high when she treated wet but very happy music lovers to a truly fabulous set of her mixed-up tracks.
The petite pop artist, who is said to be in talks to replace Rita Ora on The Voice, is even more lovable live and even thought the summer rain had fallen across the forest, it never dampened anyone’s night.
Her feel-good Winehouse-style songs and eccentric dress sense, which can sometimes resemble an explosion in a paint workshop, were what the crowd had waited for.
An exodus of fans turned up at the front of the stage at Bedgebury Pinetum to see this child-like happy woman start belting out her tracks with her band.

Fans sang along and clapped happily to their favourite tracks, including Only Love Can Hurt Like This, Can’t Rely On You and Picking Up The Pieces as well as many others against the dramatic backdrop of the pinetum at night.
Paloma was supported by Nottingham’s rising soul/rock singer Liam Bailey, whose album Definitely Now, has won praise from Fearne Cotton and Lauren Laverne.

His Summer Rain song went down a storm with the crowds.
He complemented Paloma perfectly and the forest setting and colourful set made the night perfect and fans were Ready For the Good Life.
