Chickenstock Music Festival is the family-friendly event with something for everyone

One of Kent’s most popular music festivals will be taking place across four days in August.

The Chickenstock Music Festival, which will be staged in Stockbury, near Sittingbourne between Thursday 1 August and Sunday 4 August, features an impressive line-up.

There will be a host of different genres, from the 38 bands performing from rock to Indie, Blues to gypsy folk! There will definitely be something to get you dancing along.

Among the headline acts will be 3 Daft Monkeys, Town of Cats, Electric Swing Circus and Rob Heron & the Tea Pad Orchestra.

Described by The Times as one of the UK’s best small independent music festivals, this family-friendly event has something for everyone.

There will be a selection food vendors and a bar stocking local beers, in addition to wines and spirits, and soft drinks. There will also be several stalls selling festival clothing, jewelry and other crafts and festival accessories!

Additionally, there will be activities for adults and children. For the children, there will be storytellers, magicians, circus skills trainers and bubbleologists. There will also be craft workshops for adults, including silversmithing and book binding, as well as morning yoga sessions.

Under 10s get in free, while it’s £10 for 10 to 16-year-olds and adults are from £45 for day tickets. Tickets are available for all four days or individual days. On-site camping and glamping is also available, as well as free day car parking.

The arena is open on the Thursday from 5pm to 12am and on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 12am. The music starts at 5.30pm on the Thursday and 12pm on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All of the facilities, including clean toilets, are fully accessible. Dogs are also welcome.
