Status Quo rocker Francis Rossi will share some of the secrets of his 50-plus years in rock and roll when he takes to the stage for an intimate evening of chat and music.
In Francis Rossi: I Talk Too Much, at Theatre Royal in Margate on Sunday, March 15, the founder and lead singer of Status Quo will talk about his mishaps and adventures of life on the road with the much-loved band.
Rossi, who was awarded an OBE in 2010 and has a Brit award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, has sold more than 120 million records globally with Quo.
The I Talk Too Much tour will feature Francis sharing some of the best rock ‘n’ roll stories, from an extraordinary life on the road with tales involving some of the giants of music, exclusive video clips and classic tunes.
Rossi, who, with the band, sang the first words at Live Aid in 1985, said: “This show is something new for me. It will be live and unscripted, so god knows what could happen.
“One thing’s for sure though, it’ll be a white-knuckle ride for me, but fans will get a real unvarnished insight into what’s happened over the years.
“It’s been quite a journey, there’s a lot to share.”
Rossi will be joined on stage by award-winning writer and broadcaster Mick Wall, who has sold more than one million books.
Tickets, which include Super VIP for £73, with a pre-show meet 'n' greet and VIP at £38 with merchandise bag, tour lanyard and photograph or standard at £28, can be booked at margate-live.com.
The show is also at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone on Saturday, May 2. Book tickets from £30 at parkwoodtheatres.co.uk
