If you think you know the story of Henry VIII and his wives, think again. SIX retells the tale of one of the most well-known divorcés in history but, this time, we get to hear from his unlucky-in-love wives.
Divorced, beheaded, and very much alive at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, this fresh take on the Tudor tale we all remember from school will open audiences’ eyes to a whole new perspective. Set against a backdrop of girl power and modern pop, this is history like you’ve never seen it before.
SIX has sold out theatres in both the West End and Broadway.
There are still a few tickets left for some dates at the Marlowe, and the show is also running at London’s Vaudeville Theatre until Sunday, May 1 for those who are heading into the city.
Nominated for five Olivier Awards including Best New Musical, SIX gives the microphone to a group of pop princesses who have waited five hundred years to share their story of historical heartbreak.
The show runs from Monday, February 7 to Saturday, February 12.
Few tickets remaining. Book online here or call the box office at 01227 787 787.
