School's out so what better way to celebrate than singing your heart out to the songs of Beauty and the Beast?
Singalonga Productions are inviting fans of the Disney adaptation to be their guest on Thursday, April 5 for a night of sing-a-long-a-Beauty and the Beast.
The smash hit film of last year starred Emma Watson as Belle, a beautiful, bright and independent young woman, who is taken prisoner by a beast (played by Dan Stevens) in his castle.
Despite his fearsome exterior, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff - including charismatic candle Lumiere, played by Ewan McGregor and Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts - and learns to look beyond the beast's hideous exterior, allowing her to see the kind heart and soul within. But will she do it before arrogant Gaston (Luke Evans) carries out his threats and a wicked curse runs out?
All the familiar songs will be there, from Be our Guest, Belle and Gaston to Beauty and The Beast - and you have permission to sing along as loud as you like!
There will be a Singalonga host who will warm things up before the show and teach you some hand actions, as well as show you how to use the Singalonga props bag during the film. There will also be a fancy dress competition.
You can celebrate the tale as old as time, and feel part of the fairytale, at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford on Thursday, April 5 at 2pm and 7pm.
Tickets cost from £12.50. To book visit orchardtheatre.co.uk or call 01322 220000.
