Man of the moment Craig David has been talking to kmfm about recording music in the UK.
The comeback king, whose single When the Bassline Drops featuring Big Narstie s out now, spoke to Glen Scott on the Hit List.
In his first interview of 2016 for the show, Glen also challenged Craig to sing about subjects including fire extinguishers and waste disposal - and the star was not fazed.
He said: "I'm just enjoying this moment right here, right now, we've got a song that people are really feeling.
"It's just amazing that two genres of music are combining and the demographic is amazing; I want to lap it up. Long may it continue. You wanna be in the gritty studio back in the UK; you know you're there."
He added: "2016 will be a great year of new music from the UK."
