Music will be a big emphasis at the three-day Chilli Farm Festival, with variety ranging from rock to reggae, and a singer who appeared on The Voice.
The event at Coldred, near Dover, starts on Friday, July 25, and continues until Sunday, July 27, with camping available on-site.
The star turn will be Talia Smith, remembered as this year’s The Voice contestant who drew tabloid attention after revealing that she is a traveller. Talia is a country-style singer who was chosen by Tom Jones but was later eliminated in a sing-off against folk singer Sally Barker.
Joining Talia on the music stage will be the Curb Pilots, the Little Girl and High Chaparrals among others.
The Chilli Farm Festival has a dual focus on Volkswagens, scooters and classic vehicles, and also contains elements of a country show, with ferret racing, laser clay shooting, funfair, birds of prey, horse and cart rides, ‘have a go’ traction engine driving, and a children’s cinema on-site.
Saturday night has a fancy dress theme of country and western, so if you go along as either a three-day camper or as a day visitor only, don’t forget your cowboy hat.
Adult weekend tickets cost £15. Adult day passes cost £7 for adults and £2 for children. Weekend camping tickets cost £20, as do VW campers. Visit www.chillifarmfestival.com
