Aled Jones presents Songs of Hope and Inspiration at Margate Winter Gardens this weekend.
The singer, actor, author, broadcaster, TV presenter, musical theatre performer and part-time dancer will be accompanied by world class musicians for a show that will feature an eclectic mix of songs and stories from Aled’s time in the public eye.
The Welsman has recently celebrated more than 27 years as a household name. The 43 year old had been a regular on Songs of Praise for more than 10 years and was also a presenter on Escape to the Country and Cash in the Attic for the BBC.
He then presented Classic FM’s Sunday morning radio show and woke up the nation every weekday morning with Lorraine Kelly on ITV's Daybreak before moving to the station's Weekend show earlier this year.
Aled became famous for the cover version of Walking in the Air, the song from Channel 4's 1982 animated film The Snowman based on the book by Raymond Briggs.
His pure treble voice has helped him sell 6.5 million albums during his career.
Tickets for the show at Margate Winter Gardens on Saturday, October 11 are £27.50 and £25 and are on sale at the venue box office 01843 296111 or at www.margatewintergardens.co.uk
