Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of laughter, music and community spirit with a Hawaiian-themed party at St Michael’s Care Home.

St Michael’s will be holding its annual Summer Party and Community Open Event at its site in Elm Grove, Westgate-on-Sea on Friday 28 June between 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Among the guests attending will be Sir Roger Gale, MP for North Thanet.

Visitors can indulge in delicious barbecue treats while enjoying the tunes of live singer Adam Reggio, who will be singing all of Elvis Presley’s hits. The fun-filled day for the whole family will also feature Hawaiian-themed games.

.

Guests can also take a tour of the care home’s facilities, meet the dedicated team and mingle with the lovely residents. Walkarounds are available during event hours, but pre-booking is advised at other times.

Millie Parton, customer relations officer at St Michael’s, said: “Last year’s event was a huge success. There was a big turnout and everyone had a great time.

.

“At this year’s event, visitors will be able to look around the whole home. They will be able to see a couple of the rooms, the dining room and family lounge, and also to speak with the staff and residents and their families to hear what life is like at the home, ask any questions and just get a feel for the place.

“Everyone I speak with says that St Michael’s is like one big family. It has such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere, and that’s what you’ll find if you come to the event.”

.

St Michael’s provides nursing, residential and respite care to meet all needs.
